The Cos Cos Festival is delighted to have Irish novelist, short story writer, essayist (and copyright lawyer) Ronan Sheehan present a talk exploring the subject of Colmcille and Irish copyright tradition as part of the 2021 festival programme. The talk will be recorded and available on-line.

An early member of the Irish Writers’ Co-operative, Sheehan received the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature in 1984 and served as General Editor of the Catullus Project translating works by Catullus into English and Irish. He is a director of the Dublin branch of the European Centre for Latin (Centrum Latinitatis Europae), founder of The John Philpot Curran Association, and until 2005 was a practising lawyer specialising in copyright law.
